Peace Brigades International (PBI) is now accepting applications for field volunteers in Guatemala 🇬🇹
As a PBI volunteer, you’ll provide protective accompaniment to human rights defenders, build international solidarity, and live one of the most impactful experiences of your life.

📅 Key dates:
Applications open: July 1, 2026
Deadline to apply: September 1, 2026
In-person training: January 24–30, 2027 (Navarra, Spain)
(PBI-USA will help applicants raise funds to attend the training in Spain)
✅ Requirements:
Spanish fluency
Experience in human rights or community work
12-month commitment
Age 22+
Commitment to non-violence, non-partisanship, and consensus-based decision-making
